The lovely market town of Bakewell famous for its delicious Bakewell Pudding, and the beautiful old bridge over the River Wye, is just a short drive away. A variety of independent shops, excellent farmers market, great cafes and pubs, make it a popular destination.
Also close the Spa town of Buxton, home of the world-famous Buxton Water, which you can sample straight from St Ann’s Well (bring your own bottle!). It is noted for its stunning Georgian architecture which includes, The Crescent, Pavilion Gardens, and Opera House.
